Beverly is a city in Burlington County, New Jersey and has a population of roughly 2,267 (2019).  It rests along the banks of the Delaware River and was originally a ferry port that went by the name of “Dunks Ferry”.  It was incorporated as a borough in 1850, and became a city in 1857.  It is one of the smallest incorporated cities in New Jersey.  The city was named for Beverly, England.

Beverly City School District – Serves the community from Pre-K through 8th grade.  They strive to provide everybody the benefits and privileges of full participation in all aspects of school.

Beverly Free Library – Started in 1895 by the Paragraph Club which is a local women’s club.  The library did not have a permanent location from 1895-1908 as it moved from house to house and then began sharing space with local businesses.  In 1929, the library was dedicated a building of its own where it still stands to this day.
